Additionally, I interacted with students from different socio-economic, political, and cultural backgrounds who shared their experiences and enabled me to develop critical perspectives about the relationship between care providers and patients. Interaction with other members of society helped me learn and express my understanding of leadership concepts since the class environment enabled the coming together of individuals with different ideas on leadership.

It allows for the coming together of different medical practitioners who provide their views about medical conditions and suggest practical intervention measures. Therefore, there exists a need for a functional leadership framework to guide the operations of different professionals during mitigation into cases presented by patients. I learned about the critical role of leaders in conducting operations by the different medical professionals. They come together to achieve a common goal – to mitigate ill-health cases presented by patients. The leaders should initiate practical communication as the primary factor in ensuring that the parties work together for a common goal (Zhang & Cui, 2018). Interprofessional practice creates an enabling environment for medical practitioners to corporate and solves the unique cases presented by patients during the medical procedure.

Leadership training courses allow nurses to acquire practical knowledge, skills, and attitude that facilitate cooperation during interprofessional collaboration to mitigate the cases presented by patients.
