The economic shock wave contributed to the closure of most business enterprises, leaving thousands of individuals jobless . This economic situation has greatly affected the Hong Kong and China Gas Limited Company in that there has been reduced cash flow as there is less consumption of the gas and its related products by households and private firms. This has, in return, affected most of the company’s activities which includes production as a result of reduced capital in the firm.

The marketing and supply of natural gas before the pandemic was also around (88.8%) which is around 25.7 billion m3 were sold to around 30 million customers. Also;

[c].As the company’s manager, I can consider using Maslow’s theory of the hierarchy of needs by ensuring that the company’s employees need in a hierarchical manner. I would ensure that the biological needs such as hunger and thirst are always sorted out that are providing food and water to all the employees. Also, as the firm’s manager, I will ensure that the safety, employment, resources, and health safety of workers are guaranteed. I would also ensure that self-actualization needs such as the realization of an employee’s potential and personal peak and growth experiences are also put into consideration. . I will also use Herzberg’s motivation theory by ensuring that the workers do not become unhappy by ensuring that the company’s policy, administration, supervision, salary, interpersonal relationships, and working conditions are favorable to all employees, and by doing all these, the employees will be motivated and hence the smooth flow of work. I would also suggest that the company goals and values are all defined to the employees; offering development and training, building trust, and increasing communication would lead to having cohesive teamwork and encourage having team building.
[d].As the company’s manager, I would prefer the use of extensive advertising on telecommunication platforms such as televisions, radios, billboards, and newspapers. In this, I would ensure that the company offers after-sales services such as offering free delivery to the point destination of the customers. The company will also ensure that the gas prices and the related products are lowered, thus affordable to the customers. Also, through the telecommunication platforms, the company would also offer free education to people on how to use the product, safety measures, and the importance of using the product. Lowering the prices and offering free education on gas and related product usage will increase the viewer’s readers’ interest in the products hence an increase in demand thus more sales. Nevertheless, I would also use famous celebrity personnel on billboards, televisions, and magazines to attract more attention of the customers, thus increasing the interest of the viewer concerns the company’s products. I would also offer promotional services such as buying in bulk, and getting one free would also lure the viewers into considering the company’s products. In addition, I would also indicate some special features on the products of the company that may satisfy the needs and wants of potential customers. . Therefore by doing all these, the company is more likely to change the marketing and increase sales.
[e]. the project I would consider is organizing and sponsoring sporting activities such as a football tournament and sponsoring the teams involved. By organizing the football tournament, many people will come together that providing a suitable platform for selling the products, doing promotion of the product, educating people on the usage of the products and safety measures, advertising the gas and its related products, demonstrating how the products work and also offering after-sale services to the potential customers and with all these, there is a potential increase in sales revenue
[f]. In this project, I would recommend the use of CPM, where each of the activities involved would be described and the duration it would take to complete. The sporting activity tournament would take a duration of one month where; the educating of the potential customers will take one week were talking to each individual or customer would take like ten minutes. Then advertising of the company’s gas and related products would take another two weeks, and in this, the company will use some of the roadshow tracks to move around the area in which the project is situated to alert people on the company’s products. Also selling of the company’s products will take at most two weeks, the demonstration will also take a further two days and also promotion will take a further three days in making promotion and offering after-sale services.
