My experience when handling online classes, it that it can be very overwhelming and embarking on it can result in mixed reactions for the learners for a start. Online classes were fun to attend at the beginning because it is a new aspect that was introduced in the system. I found it rather interesting to attend the classes online because there is no one to keep on monitoring what you are doing. As time went by, I found the process to be boring because of the use of the lecture method in many instances which sometimes made me lose concentration. Grasping of the content taught was so poor that I preferred in-person learning because of the live interaction and seeking further explanations. I think the online classes ways of teaching should be improved by ensuring that there is interaction for the instructor and students. The reopening of universities is a relief to me because in-person learning is more beneficial as compared to online learning where I am passive. The method can be improved by ensuring that the learners are given a high priority as compared to the lecture. The resources were not fully utilized because I could experience poor- or low-quality recordings and voice variations that made perception to be complicated. The unnecessary concepts about online classes were the online tests which we were given, it was easy to cheat thus giving the instructor a wrong impression. If the university continues to offer both learning methods, I would take both in-person because of its interactive nature and online classes because of its efficiency. An activity like assessment and practical classes should be done using the in-person method to ensure accountability, while online classes can be improved using the application of proper technology and proper internet connectivity.

The structure of my course was interrupted by remote learning because some of the concepts I learnt were purely practical, but the instructor had to explain the concepts through demonstrations. The workload remained the same only that it took a shorter time to cover many topics since the practical part of it was ignored, which is known to be time-consuming. The online classes made my grades deteriorate because I could barely concentrate on the lessons making it difficult to perform well in my assessment. I think online classes can be improved by ensuring that we play an equal role in the learning process, the instructor should not take a larger percentage of the active role that we are required to take. I would have created more learning time after the online classes, I would get better grades. Online classes made me achieve less because I lacked motivation and the instructors seemed to lowly accommodate students. I think the method was also new to them, therefore, adapting took and grasping the necessary ways of content delivery was a challenge to them. The structure of the course that I enjoyed most was before COVID because I had plenty of time to finish my assignments especially the take-home exams which I could research comprehensively. The online structure affected collaboration on my protect causes because we could not meet to share ideas that would make it successful. Online exams are prone to cheating and they are not taken seriously by learners. The advantage of online exams is they save on time and money for us students who need to commute to university.
